Appointed as expert witness for the defendant in contested court proceedings. Prepared a comprehensive expert witness report addressing the obligations of a mortgagee and its agents when exercising a power of sale under section 111A of the Conveyancing Act 1919 (NSW). The report examined what steps a reasonable mortgagee ought to take to obtain a proper price, including appropriate marketing, valuation, and sale strategy. Expert evidence was provided in support of the defendant's position ultimately facilitating a mediation with the plaintiff.
