Rajiv Goyal and Andrew McEvoy of Aston Chace Group (ACG) were appointed as Joint and Several Voluntary Administrators of Nepean River Dairy Pty Limited (Nepean River) on 8 January 2025, a leading beverage manufacturing business based in Winston Hills, NSW with a state of the art facility, that is primed for further expansion into high margin beverage and dessert categories.
Nepean River produces a wide range of Fresh, Ultra High Temperature (UHT) and Extended Shelf Life (ESL) products in both dairy and dairy alternative for blue chip companies. It is also an export registered facility with license to export to countries in China, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Singapore.
The Voluntary Administrators are currently conducting an urgent assessment of the business and considering all options, including sale of a business as a going concern or recapitalisation through a Deed of Company Arrangement (DOCA).
Mr Goyal said: "With its state of the art manufacturing facility with capacity of 60 million litres annually, Nepean River has established itself as a leading beverage manufacturing business in Australia. The Administrators are assessing Nepean River’s operations with a view to an urgent sale or recapitalisation”.
An assessment of Nepean River’s financial position is being undertaken. The key operational staff, management and shareholder remain supportive and are assisting the Voluntary Administrators while a sale or alternatively a restructuring proposal in the form of a DOCA is being pursued.
ACG will be shortly seeking urgent Expressions of Interest (EOI) in the sale or recapitalisation of Nepean River’s business. Interested parties can lodge their EOI with Matthew Fierro of ACG at [email protected].
A first statutory meeting of creditors of Nepean River will be held on or before Monday, 20 January 2025.
Information will be uploaded regularly to the ACG website (www.astoncg.com.au).
