Vincent Pirina

Principal

Vincent is a co-founder of Aston Chace Group, with more than 15 years’ experience in the insolvency and restructuring sector, and specialises in finding solutions to complex commercial issues for mid-market clients.

Vincent formerly worked with one of Australia’s leading advisory and restructuring firms where he supported many of the country’s largest and most complex assignments. During this time, Vincent also completed a 15-month secondment within the workout/turnaround team within a major Australian financial institution.

Vincent has extensive experience working with clients and stakeholders across industries to help them find innovative solutions in distressed and non-distressed scenarios. He regularly leads projects that involve independent business reviews, the sale and trade-on of distressed businesses and investigations into corporate failures.

He also provides detailed strategic advice, assists financiers to assess exposures, and conducts negotiations to help clients manage complex matters.

Ian Niccol

Principal

Ian is a co-founder of Aston Chace Group with more than 15 years of formal insolvency and restructuring experience. Ian specialises in advising mid-market clients and stakeholders, previously working with Deloitte’s restructuring team and leading restructuring and advisory firms, McGrathNicol and FTI Consulting. During this time, he supported a range of engagements across industries.

Ian has significant experience providing independent advice to key stakeholders of underperforming and distressed businesses. This includes strategic and operational restructuring, security reviews, exit strategies, sale of businesses and working capital management.

Ian has worked on a range of significant appointments for listed and private organisations, including the [restructure] of Peabody Energy’s Australian operations, The Voluntary Administration and DOCA for Oroton Group, the receivership of MIS Company, and liquidation of a notable mining services company.

Steve Naidenov

Principal

Steve is a co-founder of Aston Chace Group and registered liquidator with more than 20 years’ experience in corporate insolvency matters. Steve specialises in supporting SMEs, individuals and financial institutions.

As a registered liquidator, Steve has managed formal and informal appointments across industries, delivering strategic solutions that address all aspects of the insolvency process.

Paul Fury

Technical & Compliance Director

Paul has more than 25 years’ experience in corporate insolvency and leads the development and implementation of Aston Chace Group’s technical standards and corporate compliance.

As Aston Chace Group’s technical expert, Paul draws from his extensive experience in both the insolvency and legal sectors, advising the firm’s principals and broader teams. Paul practised as a solicitor and a barrister before working as a Senior Manager at an independent insolvency firm for nine years.

Paul has supported a range of liquidations, voluntary administrations, receiverships, schemes of arrangement and insolvency events across industries. This has ranged from large-scale corporate failures to smaller matters.

Vincent Miranda

Senior Manager

Vincent has more than 10 years’ experience in insolvency and business recovery across industries. Vincent specialises in advising stakeholders of distressed businesses including directors, financiers, employees, unsecured creditors and their respective professional advisers.

Vincent formerly worked with business advisory and restructuring firms Sims Partners and PPB Advisory (acquired by PwC), Hall Chadwick as well as one of the big four banks.

Vincent has supported various appointments including voluntary administrations, deed of company arrangements, liquidations, receiverships, agents for mortgagees and expert reports such as investigating accountant reports and solvency reports.

Andrew McEvoy

Senior Manager

Andrew has more than nine years’ experience in the insolvency industry and has worked on some of Australia’s largest corporate insolvency engagements. Andrew formerly worked with leading restructuring and advisory firm, McGrathNicol.

He has developed experience in a range of formal and informal insolvency matters, including receiverships for major banks, investigations into the reasons for large scale corporate collapses and independent business reviews.

Cameron Lee

Manager

Cameron has more than seven years’ experience in the insolvency industry, having worked on engagements across industries including software, construction, smash repairs, retail, and hospitality.

Cameron has experience with a range of formal and informal corporate insolvency appointments, including receiverships and investigative engagements for secured lenders. Cameron has also had involvement in a number of corporate insolvency matters assisting in the preparation of complex legal recoveries including preparing for public examinations and the execution of search warrants.
