Xpress Fuels - Liquidators ACG obtain litigation funding to pursue circa $40m against global fuel companies

Aston Chace Group (ACG) obtains creditor support to obtain litigation funding ACG appointed as Liquidators over Xpress Fuel Australia, Xpress Transport Solutions and Xpress Group Australia, major national fuel business in Australia.   Today marks a substantial milestone in the liquidation of Xpress Fuel whereby creditors approved litigation funding for the Liquidator to pursue (amongst other claims) substantial unfair preferential payments in excess of $40m against major fuel companies.   The Liquidators are now well funded to undertake detailed investigations and bring mothership proceedings for the benefit to the overall body of creditors.   Liquidator, Rajiv Goyal of ACG, would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their valuable input and ongoing support getting to this point and taking this matter forward now, including (but not limited to):   - Ian Niccol and Andrew McEvoy, fellow principals, being added as joint Liquidators to the appointment - Legal advisors to the Liquidators, Noel McCoy and his team at Norton Rose Fulbright - Assistance provided by the Receivers and previous Administrators - Incoming Litigation Funder, Iron Bark Funding   Look forward to progressing our investigations and making liquidator recoveries!
