Congratulations - Andrew McEvoy admitted as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of NSW
News added 01 March 2024
Andrew McEvoy expresses gratitude and thanks… “All persons having any business before this Honourable Court will now draw nigh and give their attendance, and they shall be heard”. Last Friday, it was a privilege to be welcomed with the Court’s proclamation, swear an Oath of Office and be admitted as a Lawyer in the Supreme Court of NSW after many years of hard work. I’m grateful my parents and children could also experience the ceremony in the Banco Court - we will always remember the solemnity of the occasion. As Justice Ward said, the legal profession has ancient origins … “dedicated to upholding the Rule of Law, one of the most important pillars of a peaceful and democratic society with the standards expected of legal professionals correspondingly high”.
